Coaches take the time to teach our youth the true meanings of teamwork, dedication, personal growth, and family. Hence, they learn what it means to be a part of a community of people that genuinely care about one another. This is also exemplified by the parents, staff and volunteers, who embody this spirit of community on and off the court. This was not just a pretty sentiment, but my time in the gym with Royal City Basketball has shown me that this is a core value upheld by the coaches, staff, volunteers, participants and parents. Coaches take the time to teach our youth the true meanings of teamwork, dedication, personal growth, and family. Hence, they learn what it means to be a part of a community of people that genuinely care about one another. This is also exemplified by the parents, staff and volunteers, who embody this spirit of community on and off the court. At the beginning we challenged ourselves to build a club that\u2019s \u201cBigger than Basketball\u201d. We knew it would take countless hours of hard work, long days followed by more long days. Our primary goal is to foster a love of the game in the communities we serve! When the community thinks of basketball we want Royal City Basketball to be the first name that comes to mind! So now, we work just as hard to improve the club and continue to provide an opportunity to all youth. From those that are beginners all the way to the elite levels and everywhere in between.
